Inderjit Bedi, head of global convertibles research at BNP Paribas and a well-known figure in the industry, has quit the French bank after seven years.
The head of convertibles research at a rival bank said: "We have always respected his work" and added that his departure is likely to be seen as a particular blow as he was central to the team at BNP Paribas.
