Blackstone has poached Goldman Sachs’s Emea leveraged finance head Dominic Ashcroft as private markets firms continue to try and lure veteran dealmakers away from Wall Street.

Ashcroft started in high-yield capital markets at the bank in 2002 before becoming a vice-president in the leveraged finance syndicate.
