BlackRock adds host of UK names to global executive committee to bolster top talent

The fund giant has added several London-based executives to its highest ranks

BlackRock’s UK and Europe boss will be one of 20 senior leaders elevated to the fund giant’s global executive committee, as the world’s largest asset manager overhauls its highest ranks.

According to a memo from chief executive Larry Fink and president Rob Kapito, seen by Financial News, UK and Europe head Sarah Melvin will be added to the leadership group in changes to unlock “the full potential of talent across the firm”.
