Investor confidence falls to nine month low

The chief investment officer at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, Bill O'Neill, is advising caution on equities as European investor confidence reaches lows not seen since last June.

Veteran manager Bill O'Neill said in a monthly report: "The time to be brave on the equity call is not quite upon us."
