HSBC has climbed up the Caps mixed with property pooled fund rankings to 29th out of 66 funds over the past 12 months, following a 1.4 percentage points outperformance in the third quarter.

HSBC's managed exempt fund posted 0.9% against the confirmed Caps mixed with property pooled fund median of -0.5% for the third quarter, ranking it sixth for the period. The strong showing followed a poor quarter two, which was a difficult time for managers, where HSBC came in a poor 56th. The team will need a good final three months to pull out of its below average position over nine months.
