Barclays Wealth, the UK wealth-management division of UK bank Barclays, has opened a new office in Rome targeting ultra-high-net-worth Italians, partly through its corporate bank.

The wealth manager will share the office of Barclays Capital, the investment banking division of Barclays Bank, through which Barclays Wealth has developed synergies for its ultra-high-net-worth clients, those with liquid assets of $30m (€24m) and above.
