Barclays' top equity capital markets banker in the UK - and a former FN Rising Star - is rejoining JP Morgan's ECM team in London.

Barry Meyers has been hired by the US bank as a managing director in UK ECM and to lead its ECM operations in sub-Saharan Africa, according to an internal memo seen by FN. A spokeswoman for JP Morgan confirmed the contents on the memo.
