Barclays Capital is continuing its drive to expand into continental Europe by hiring three leveraged finance bankers from WestLB in Dusseldorf.

All three will cover German-based financial sponsors. Christian Bartling has been appointed as a director. He will be based initially in London then move to Frankfurt in a few months.
