Banks, insurers and asset managers are meeting at the Bank of England on 1 October to discuss the lack of socio-economic diversity in the top ranks of UK finance.

The finance heavyweights will examine a fresh report from non-profit group Progress Together, which shows that senior leadership in the City remains dominated by narrow talent pipelines, with progression opportunities unevenly distributed.
