Bank of America’s European head resigns

The head of Bank of America Merrill Lynch's European operations, and a key figure in the firm's Brexit relocation plans, has stepped down from his role.

Alex Wilmot-Sitwell, the London-based president for Europe, Middle East and Africa at BAML and one of the City's best-known investment bankers, resigned earlier this week, according to an internal memo seen by Financial News.
