Fund management veteran James Anderson is returning to investing at a new firm that will also include former UK chancellor George Osborne.

Anderson, who spearheaded the rise of Baillie Gifford's Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust, left the firm last year, but has now found a new full-time role with Lingotto Investment Management, according to the Financial Times.
