Aviva Investors gets green light for venture capital fund

The long-term asset fund, which will allocate to early stage companies, is the latest from the UK asset manager after it signed the Mansion House compact

Aviva Investors, the fund management arm of the UK-listed insurer, has received approval to launch a dedicated venture capital fund — part of the asset manager’s continued push into private markets.

The £234bn firm has received the green light to launch a long-term asset fund focused on venture and growth capital — three months after it set up a dedicated venture capital and strategic capital division within its private markets business.
