Investment experts are beginning to question the wisdom of the recent flood of mergers and acquisitions among asset managers since they’re often followed by fleeing funds and falling share prices.

There have been a raft of deals over the past five years, and lockdown doesn't seem to have diminished appetite. JPMorgan’s Jamie Dimon says his firm is still on the hunt for asset manager partners as the market stays hot.
