ASB appointss new chairman

Sir David Tweedie is to be replaced as chairman of the Accounting Standards Board (ASB) by Mary Keegan, a senior partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Tweedie, who has been chairman of the ASB for 10 years, is moving on to take the chair of the new International Accounting Standards Committee.
