Ant Group, the financial-technology company co-founded by Chinese billionaire Jack Ma, said it has no plans to go public, striking back at social-media posts contending the company was exploring a potential backdoor listing four years after its high-profile listing plans were quashed.

Alibaba affiliate Ant Group said in a post on Chinese social-media platform Weibo on Thursday that it “currently has no plans to go public,” and any report of a “so-called ‘backdoor listing’ is completely false.”
