Julian Sawyer is no stranger to financial innovation.
One of the original co-founders of Starling Bank, Sawyer took the leap into cryptocurrencies at US exchange Gemini as the head of its UK operations in December 2019. Not long after, he was tapped for the top job at Luxembourg-based exchange Bitstamp in October last year.
