Paris-headquartered fund management giant Amundi wants to bolster its business in the UK by targeting wins across the expanding pensions and wealth management sectors.

“The British market for us is a clear priority,” Amundi UK chief executive Eric Bramoullé told Financial News in his first interview since being appointed to the role earlier this year. “We don’t have the natural market share Amundi should have. We are in the top five or top 10 in all major European markets, but not in the UK. The aim now is to grab back that market share and ensure people know us better.”
