Amundi’s chief executive says Europe’s largest asset manager is on the lookout for takeover targets as the current market turmoil presents opportunities to expand its technology business.

The Paris-headquartered asset manager has grown through a series of acquisitions over the past decade. These have included its 2016 purchase of Pioneer Investments from UniCredit and its acquisition of Lyxor two years ago.
