Alantra names veteran Hernández to lead dealmaking amid flurry of new roles

Mid-market investment bank continues bid to bulk up in the UK since striking merger with Catalyst Corporate Finance six years ago

Mid-market investment bank Alantra has transferred its top dealmaker from Madrid to London, part of a flurry of appointments as it continues to build out its UK operation.

Miguel Hernández, a veteran dealmaker who has worked at Alantra for more than two decades, has been named chief executive of its investment bank and is relocating to the City. He specialises in the real estate sector as well as industrials and consumer companies.
