Accenture has passed the $2bn mark in generative AI revenue this year, as the consultancy looks to offset lacklustre demand for wider consulting services by cashing in on the technology boom.

Third-quarter results published on 20 June show Accenture took in more than $900m in generative AI new bookings over the period, taking its total for the fiscal year so far into the billions.
