Abu Dhabi in talks with 60 finance giants eyeing new offices in the Middle East

The pipeline includes roughly 25 hedge funds from the UK, the US, and Asia

Abu Dhabi’s financial centre is in talks with more than 60 global finance firms, including asset managers and hedge funds, who want to set up shop in the UAE capital.

A flurry of firms from the UK, the US and Asia are trying to establish a presence in the region, according to Arvind Ramamurthy, chief of market development at Abu Dhabi Global Market, the region’s finance hub.
