Aberdeen Standard targets €300m for European co-investments

Asset manager aims to reward investors that write large checks early on with fee discounts

Aberdeen Standard Investments is targeting €300m for a new fund that would co-invest in European private equity deals, and plans to give investors writing big checks up front a break on fees.

Details of the new fund were disclosed in documents presented to San Bernardino County Employees’ Retirement Association, a California pension fund that is considering a $50m commitment to the new fund.
