£11tn investor group warns it will vote against companies lagging on race

Big names such as JPMorgan AM, Aviva Investors and LGIM will look to oust directors if firms don't step up on diversity

An £11.7tn investor group warned it will vote against companies at AGMs if they fail to tackle racial inequality and boost ethnic minority representation among their workforces.

Heavyweights including Aviva Investors, JPMorgan Asset Management, and Legal & General Investment Management said they may block director re-elections where they haven't made enough progress towards targets.
